Of Marsi

Marsi Sukhumbhand Paribatra
Marsi was a talented Thai artist who created paintings in surrealist-fantastic genre in a small, picturesque village of Southern France for over 40 years. The works of Marsi are unique in their elaborate details with imaginary half-human, half-animal characters resembling a fairy-tale. The paintings are influenced by her extensive knowledge in literature, art history, mythology, love for classical music and animals. All harmoniously combined with Eastern and Western philosophy into beautiful mesmerizing paintings in her own style, which reflect the universal truth of life and death
